Springbok's touring England and Wales in 2016
The Springboks will play England and Wales for their end of season tour to the northern hemisphere in 2016, according to announcements made by the European rugby unions. The announcement confirming these tests came from the Rugby Football Union of England and the Welsh Rugby Union respectively, both parties mentioning that they will be welcoming the Springboks next year in November.
Two of the fixtures for the tour to the UK were confirmed with the national side set to face England at Twickenham, where they played their World Cup quarter- and semi-finals. The London date is on the 12th of November 2016. The Bokke will be aiming for their sixth successive victory over England at Twickenham, dating back to 25 November 2006.
Wales will host South Africa at the Principality Stadium (Millennium Stadium) in Cardiff two weeks later on the 26th of November 2016.
Other test encounters are set to be added to the schedule for the Springboks' tour of the northern hemisphere at the end of 2016, and will be made public in due course.
The Springboks will announce the appointment of a new coach in the coming weeks, as Heyneke Meyer recently quit the job.
